Is the English education system fit for purpose?

A growing number of people – educators, academics, young people, parents – are questioning whether the current education system is working (it's not). It's inflexible and suits fewer and fewer children. It's overly academic, fails to nurture individual talents and passions and doesn't equip this generation with the skills they need for adult life in 2030 and beyond. The call for change isn't new, but there's a tangible groundswell. And a global pandemic may be just the opportunity we need to show that there is another way. Now we must harness that groundswell for action, uniting the voices of individuals and groups under a collective set of values to collaborate and effect change. That is the purpose of School Differently.
